Completely disagree. Even if your working and don’t have “summers off” like you used too. Summer time weekends heading to the lake, going outdoors for a hike or a picnic. Just generally having the sunshine on you is still far far far better than a winter world that becomes black and white for a few months.
If summer wasn’t better than winter in pretty much every way, S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) would be most common in summer instead of winter.
Summer is the worst time for hiking and picnics. It’s blisteringly fucking hot out and makes the hike magnitudes more exhausting and miserable being drenched in sweat. Fall is the best time for that when it’s actually cool but not yet freezing.
And personally I prefer overcast days versus bright-as-fuck sunny days where I’m constantly squinting cause it’s so damn bright out, plus the heat it brings makes it that much worse.
