    I’ve only got one, but he has successfully made it to his teenage years because he was a leashed toddler. The amount of times I caught him when his face was two inches from concrete I can only count on one hand, but that’s enough.

      I think this is one of the most overlooked benefits of harnesses. Just being able to save them from a faceplant when they’re still really practicing being upright is a huge relief, and gives them more confidence too, because they know you’ll be there to catch them if they fall.
