I’m not so sure, republicans love throwing an occasional patsy into the volcano during election season so they can shift blame and consolidate voting blocks. Rfk was brought in only to consolidate voting blocks. Trump is in control of MAHA loons now, he doesn’t need rfk. He LOVES to pretend to care about children’s health and wants very badly to “solve” autism, so I can easily see him replacing rfk with like Joe Rogan or someone even dumber.

He wasn’t a contender last time he ran, he did so specifically because Trump needed the extremist “health” conspiracy type people to win his election, and Trump promised rfk an important position if he dropped out and backed trump. It’s a very common move among power and money seekers to run if they think they can gain at least a few percentage points of the electorate. That means they can swing elections either way, especially in today’s environment where most critical elections come down to a few percentage points, and more and more commonly a few votes on the local level.

These monsters all think they are great.

I fully expect them all to compete for the role once Trump moved on.

True. We don’t usually see “criminal probe”, and a call for ouster. Just an inquiry or a hearing.

The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round.
