The carrier is there because our cat’s been deathly ill. Last few months he’s been going off food, obviously hungry because he comes and yells at us for the 45mins before supper time, just won’t eat. Took him to the vet, nothing seemed wrong with his teeth or tummy. Then my wife said she’d noticed his breathing was quite laboured. They pulled 300ml of fluid from his chest cavity. The possible causes were heart failure, kidney/liver failure, something about proteins 🤷🏾‍♂️ or cancer.
All his bloods came back in the green. Two ultrasounds showed a bit of something in the chest. So CT scan.

Turns out all they can find is a bit of arthritis starting in his spine, but no cause of the fluid. So wee man got shoved in the carrier three days on the bounce, £3500 if I didn’t have insurance for him.

Sorry for triggering your fur baby.

Aw no I didn’t expect sad kitty stories. Hope he doesn’t have to go back! Here’s mine pretending she’s not scared of the box
