In Botany, Watermelons and Tomatoes are both categorized as Berries, along with pumpkins, avocados, cucumbers and bananas. Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, however, are not.
I understand the strawberries. But I thought the reasoning was the seeds are on the outside. Now you have me wondering where the seeds are in raspberries. I thought those were internal… Shit

If I recall correctly, for strawberries, each seed is an individual “fruit”, and the tasty juicy part is just an accessory or something.
I think raspberries and blackberries are classified as a bunch of fruits stuck together or something…
