I’ve had Amazon just put my delivery straight in the recycling bin, the morning of collection.
Exactly where amazon packages belong.
Im glad they do, porch pirates transcend nations
I don’t think rest of the world leaves packages on your front porch. You either receive it personally or go to the post office. Never understood why they just leave it out in the open in America.
No they do the same in the UK now. They’re not really meant to, but they absolutely do. Package behind the bins or in the bins is very normal here
I’m in Australia and they just leave it on the front doorstep. Luckily I’m always home so I can pick it up, but I’m surprised more packages don’t get stolen in general
I mean… People might think it’s empty trash. That’s almost clever
Until the trash gets picked up.
This is a standard thing for many years, it’s not new.
Especially if it’s facing away from the street.

I cant understand this, what is being said
This user complained about the OP. The thread starter posts content from reddit here. His argument is that Lemmy is dead without users posting interesting content, so he scrapes reddit and posts it here. Some users don’t like content from reddit here and would prefer only natural user interaction. OP says, if that were the case the entire Lemmy network would be basically empty.
oh, thanks
