Why would anyone ever run windows on a MacBook tho
on Intel Macs that used to be somewhat common.
Yeah, when I was a .NET dev I used to do that (this was long before .NET on Linux).
It’s a remote session.
one thing comes to mind.
its the good old days of intel macs and the utter lack of games on linux. if you wanted to play sth, on a mac, you needed to dualboot windows :/
ofc that doesn’t really make sense nowadays…Because Apple doesn’t provide drivers to their proprietary chips. That’s why there’s a whole reverse engineering effort for that in the form of Asahi Linux.
