I was honestly surprised when I visited Egypt for the first time and discovered they have different symbols for numbers in Arabic. Also, they look kind of the same as the one used with Latin alphabet, but there are some tricks like ٥ is 5 and ٦ is 6, so yeah … you have to learned them, you can’t just guess.
I discovered when changing my standby background on my iPhone, and have been using them ever since.
