It’s frustrating but a laaaarge proportion of people who voted for him didn’t pay attention to politics so didn’t know, or care to look it up, and just bought the propaganda that “conservatives good for economy”.
So when they were struggling under a non Republican, they voted that way.
It’s dumb and frustrating, and I know there are plenty of people who do know and don’t care, or support their horrible views… But a decent chunk didn’t
Some of them are all about the actions from who is in power and don’t care about the rest. I’m more referring to the ones who use the excuse “they didn’t know he was like this”. And I’ll admit that there’s some who will say that, then still support him anyway.

If I knew what a piece of shit he was growing up in California, they did too. For them, he’s a feature, not a bug, because inside they’re just like him.
But later on people who had been alive then had no idea he was like this and voted for him in three different elections.
