I’ve been saying it’s endemic for the whole earth for years. Now it’s just another thing to test for (in my area) when people come in for upper respiratory issues along like flu and strep.
its only gets reported in the news, if the new variant is particular severe, like last year, otherwise you never hear about covid. also people around me, dont think it exists anymore, even in a covid-conscisous city.
In this case, I’m referring to the baseline or prevalence throughout all of Earth’s population. Whereas pandemic is more like an epidemic that has spread to other contries.
Covid is common now like the common cold, flu, strep. It’s always gonna be with us I’m afraid. I would also believe that most every human has been exposed to the virus at this point.
