Yesterday I heard that in my country of the Netherlands, 4 people received euthanasia last year due to long covid. Euthanasia is doctor assisted suicide, and to receive it you must prove “unbearable suffering” with no hope of improvement. They weren’t super old either, the youngest was 51.
It can attack every system within our bodies, and even hurt our brains if we’re unlucky. We failed to contain and stop the spread. Now it’s mutated and will be with our species for the foreseeable future. Videos of those with really bad long covid are so sad.
