I know we’ve had at least three posts on this topic so far. I can see from the comments that a lot of people were not or are not aware of this relationship.
I think this is important because it points to something that runs contrary to Ed Sheeran’s public statement, where he excused his dismissal of a musician speaking up for Palestine.
For the record, Kraft built the stadium with his own $$.
I highly doubt it was an typical, noncorrupt interaction with the government where he footed upfront costs and got no special tax breaks because of it.
I’m sure there were tax incentives. Just pointing out that Kraft didn’t get state or town $$ for the build.
I’m definitely not calling Kraft a “good guy” for doing it.
