I was looking at comic lettering the other day, and saw someone try to make a font based on Bill Watterson’s lettering in Calvin and Hobbes. One thing you immediately notice is that all of the individual letters look identical. You can make variable fonts these days, and I’d guess that there’s likely some technical route to create variation, but ordinarily, fonts don’t have that variation, and even someone who does a lot of lettering has a certain amount of natural variation from letter to letter.
That font or handwriting is unreadable.
Ehh. It’s a choice for sure, but it’s not unreadable.

It’s a bit annoying, but unreadable? Most people discussing the post seem to have been able to read it.
It’s the keming (kerning).
Technically it’s the letter spacing since it’s every letter, but just a few pairs.

It’s not monospace. The “r” is very narrow, for example.
EDIT: Some unusual properties:
Very tight letter spacing.
Very low crossbar on the “t”.
Very small (looks up term) bottom terminal on “a”.
Use of all lowercase.
Apostrophe absent or very small in “you’re”.
Tiny middle bar on “m”.
No descenders.
