Thanks to u/[email protected] for turning me on to Ship of Harkinian. It’s my opinion after messing with it for a half hour that this is THE way to experience OoT again.

I’ve been running Ocarina when I can. I just completed the Water Temple. All I need now are the Fire and Shadow Medallions, then I can whack Ganondorf.
I don’t even have a Switch 2, and I’m not buying it just to be sold nostalgia I can already relive with stuff I’ve had for like 20 years. That said, I am running it on Gopher64 this time around.

Dude, I wish I could launch this to the top of the thread. I just set it up, and it’s so much snappier than running on emulator.
If you haven’t already, grab a hi res texture pack. OoT in 2k at 200fps is awesome.

Yep, that’s because it’s a decompilation of the original game’s code under the hood, which was then recompiled as a native PC application.
Meaning Nintendo can’t do shit about it, unless HarbourMasters decides to start making charging for their PC ports?
I love it! 60fps, high quality textures, and quality of life options make it feel so much better to play.
I’m already pretty blown away at widescreen support. I never thought I’d get to play '98 OoT in widescreen.
I will help! Haven’t played this one but have messed around with some of the de/re-compiles.
Can’t wait until Triforce Quest gets added.
