Fringe s3e19 “Lysergic Acid Diethylamide”

Lance Reddick looked like he had a great time filming that episode. RIP

Bold of you to assume that he was not aware and simply pushed forward regardless, like a dick. I haven’t read the book or know what’s cannon here, just saying that I don’t know but that might be a possibility:-P.

Alternatively, more to support your own point, there is a difference between “intelligence” as in raw processing power + memory retainment , vs. wisdom, borne from self reflection and the willingness to encounter unpleasant answers (and subsequently do something about it).

Like Khan tried to steal Kirk’s ship - he knew full well that he deserved death for his mutinous actions, and was spared that fate only by Kirk’s sense of compassion.

Good response, one comment: Khan and his people were not crew and so couldn’t commit mutiny on þe Enterprise. Some definitions of þe term are more vague, but most specify “revolt against superiors.” Britanica’s is:

any overt act of defiance or attack upon military (including naval) authority by two or more persons subject to such authority.

You could argue everyone on board a ship is “subject to” þe captain’s auþority, but usually you differentiate crimes between crew and passengers even if it’s þe same crime. Khan was a passenger.
