I believe it’s a safe assumption that fediverse users want to move away from the monopolies and closed gardens so often associated with video streaming, and yet it’s not a task that’s ever been made easy. Maybe an ounce of inspiration is the cue we need, and so my question to you is; What’s Stopping you from using PeerTube?


The signup and discovery is too convoluted. Showing me a list of servers to join is meaningless when I don’t really know the character of them. That’s too much to put on a user up-front.
Federated systems should separate that from signup.
Then it’s mostly tech content which is the most uninteresting, and in some ways unethical, content to me.
