Is it just a bunch of unpleasant people getting rich who ask obnoxious questions and refuse to answer the questions that they’re being asked?

    Since you’re asking obnoxiously? Yeah

I was like …Yes mf just like you said, on top of its evil use in surveillance and war crimes, poisoning nearby living things with frequency noise, destroying our water and electeicty resources and inflating bubble economy on the expense of losing actual jobs

Yeah I hate it when people refuse to answer questions they’ve been asked. Only really stupid person would do that.

Seriously though why is anyone asking this guy his opinion on anything, is a fascist and his company is basically a fascist incubator. It’s not like he’s going to have a insightful nuanced opinion or anything.

I long for the days where instead of asking these assholes questions people just stomp the shit out of them.

AI has to work for the warfighter and for enterprises

Do you feel like AI is working for you?

It’s not supposed to work for us. I’m shocked by the honesty. AI is good for “the system”, at the expense of individuals. I’m a little annoyed the clip cuts off there.

That’s what I thought too. This isn’t a mental breakdown. This is someone forgetting to keep up appearances. This is someone speaking his truth, because this is actually how it works. There is a lot of money in the military complex and drone warfare is quickly become the reality of war. That it sometimes targets schools, is a shame, but it’s less costly than sending actual soldiers to the battlefield. I believe these are the kind of visions companies like palintir and the US army are build on.

Claude didn’t just target the Minab school; it double tapped it. Also nuremberg etc. etc. Seriously the sooner you guys stop giving any benefit of the doubt to these chess players, the sooner we can fix society. Any day now.

Claude didn’t target shit, Americans did. “AI told us bad people were there” is an excuse and a shitty one. Even if it did (and you can get AI to agree with any viewpoint so it very well may have), an actual human being made the call to double tap the school, either knowing it was a school or not bothering to look it up on Google maps before even ordering the strike.

Right, Karp is a perfect product of a system that values money and who you know above all else. And will keep that system rolling.

Nah, he is the perfect example of how nepotism and who you roommate with in college gets you ahead of everyone else. Sadly, using these parameters to choose leadership may be great for the ownership class, but sucks for the rest of the world.

I have my own personal nepotism at my company where the future son in law of the CEO keeps making shit mistakes that my entire team has to fix. Then we all have to pretend he’s not an idiot and dedicate most of our weekly team meeting to listening to his dumb ass shit.

So hmm yeah. Nepotism is hard at work.

He just spouted all the AI talking points, desperate to get someone to parrot him because no one is believing the lies. It just sucks that no legislation is actually being worked on to curb the ridiculous amount of power and privilege these systems have over the government and common people.

Idk. If the manager at a local mcdonalds gave an interview calling people stupid as shit and then rambling nonsense, people might suppose the same. The only time I’ve had someone do that to me they were clearly unhoused with some kind of mental health condition.

This guy is the head of an international corporation, named after an evil entity, owned by a famous Billionaire who is frequently in the news about cartoon villainy. He should ostensibly have some media training that details why this little crashout is sad, pathetic, and embarassing.

Yeah sure, sad pathetic and embarrassing. I agree. That’s why I said psychopath and nutjob.

But mental breakdown? Come on. That just conflates people who have legitimate mental health issues with this guy’s lunacy.

Fair enough. It is hyperbolic, but I’m not sure by how much.

I will give honorable mention to the pathological greed. If greed wasn’t so celebrated, I’m sure there’d we’d have a proper diagnosis for their insatiability.
