In my experience Boomers are basically all cemented in their position, for example the single most feral leftie I’ve ever met was an old ass biker boomer who apparently hung out with the black Panthers as a teen and basically wanted to murder ever president since Johnson. Meanwhile I’ve never met a rightwing boomer who could have their mind changed regardless of whatever logic chain you use, I’ve had more conductive arguments with neo-nazis since at least they try to argue rather than effectively just going nuh-uh.

I guess you’re right. We made such a hullabaloo about young podcast listeners leaning right I suppose that I lost the point.
The chart shows a lot of people from all ages who switched or just didn’t turn out
Edit: should have linked the source on this random chart I pulled out my ass https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/06/26/voting-patterns-in-the-2024-election/pp-2025-6-26_validated-voters_2-02/
To be fair, whoever plotted the X axis of the chart did their very best to make it as unintuitive as possible.
It looks like the only age group that didn’t increase support for Trump in 2024 compared to 2016 was 65+.

You are correct. Which would make the only group who didn’t sell us out the literal actual boomers. Well, not more than usual anyway
