QUEBEC CITY - Quebec Premier-designate Paul St-Pierre Plamondon says he’ll be updating his list of problem minorities after networks declared The Parti Québécois will form government with the support of at least one of the other opposition parties.
Really curious where this goes. I support everybody’s right to self determination, which includes the Québécois, but also the Anishinaabeg, Inuit, and the many other Indigenous peoples currently living on those lands.
I think this becomes increasingly complex because Quebec sits on both unceded territory as well as treaty land, so separation would have to deal with the legal hurdles associated with both.

The Beaverton is a satire.
Lol, I do realize that! I just had this on my mind when the post drifted up, and figured the topic would make sense.
Sir, this is a Harvey’s.
If Quebec separates, they don’t get from Val d’Or north, or the outauais valley. That was determined years ago.
Outauais becomes federal land or part of Ontario. And the north part becomes a new territory, as its pre-confederation land.
