Oh no, you walk away from the project and get sued for breech of contract.

Then the judge throws it out because Danny Trejo clearly entered into the contract with misrepresentation by his agent.

Or, the judge doesn’t throw it out - and the internet gladly funds your defence via a gofundme, and Danny Trejo is now a global hero getting sued by Ben ‘my wife has never had a wet pussy’ Shapiro.

I’m not seeing any way this isn’t a win. And that’s why people are not falling in behind this explanation… It doesn’t really pass the sniff test.

Tdw is known for misleading actors just enough to sign on. I really just wish someone with clout. (cough, Danny Trejo, cough) would take them to court.

And what kind of shitty agent would do that to their client?

His son sounds legit, but it’s still really hard to believe. Doesn’t this guy have an agent or manager? He just unwittingly signed his soul away?

Even by the most generous explaination, he threw out scruples and diligence to take the money, which itself is not great. Personally I think he was going to cash the check and thought he’d maybe catch some minor flack for a movie no one really sees, then move on to the next thing.

He has already worked with DW before, willingly, so most likely knows and doesn’t care. No idea why people give rich celebrities so much credit when it’s clear he’s flirting with fascists for the bag. He’s not even really a that good of an actor he’s just in a lot of great stuff (and a lot of really shitty stuff too)

99.9999% of the population never bother to read the fine print before signing or clicking “i agree” so using this as a reflection of their characters seems misguided.

They do when it’s a job contract or employment terms.
