Why children? Because they have nothing to do with American politics since they have no say in the matter, but you want them to be part of the collective punishment anyway.

This should be obvious to you.

Also, “I’m not as much of a ghoul as they are” is not the defense of yourself that you think it is.

And I don’t buy the “the horrible thing I just said was a joke” from you any more than I buy it when Trump makes the same claim.

Shoot, a lot of adults don’t, either! lol What, you think everyone gets and exercises a vote? This should be obvious to you.

I’m not as much of a ghoul as they are

I think you’re seriously confused as to whose policy that is. I’m merely saying let him have his fantasy for a hot minute. “Let him fuck around” were my actual words. What are you trying here?

And you don’t have to buy anything. You already made up your mind from the moment you decided to ackshually all over this thread to white knight the imaginary children.

Will someone think of the imaginary children!

(Also, next time you say you’ll “kill” someone, I’m calling the cops because it’s Seeriuos Business and I don’t buy your lame excuses, either. How dare you joke about death.)

I really do not know why you think mocking someone for worrying about children dying (maybe you’re not a parent, but I am) is any sort of defense against a claim that you’re being ghoulish. Quite the opposite.

You apparently are not in the U.S. and I’m guessing you also don’t have any children. Lots of people with children in the U.S. are very scared right now. The fact that my own very much not imaginary child is queer is why we’re emigrating to the UK (where I have dual citizenship) before January. She has cousins. They are not going to be so lucky when wave after wave of disease hits the U.S. thanks to RFK being in charge of Health and Human Services.

But hey, kudos to your hilarious joke. Let us all know when your standup tour starts.

I’m not mocking you for worrying about children, I’m mocking you for being facetious and ridiculous and taking a comment at face value. I though you were more astute than that.

my own very much not imaginary child is queer is why we’re emigrating to the UK

Bruh, everyone has seen your damn post and we know you’re leaving. Are you trying to brag or what? Because you pulled that out awfully fast and without prompt.

          hilarious joke.

When did I say it was a joke? I said it was “meaningless rhetoric to express frustration”. I’m pretty sure you tacked that on like you did with the imaginary children. And why are you trying to be subversive and putting words in my mouth, huh? Think I’m just gonna let you?

Just admit that you tripped up and you decided to ackshually me to feel better about yourself. It’s ok.

Rumors of my being psychic are greatly exaggerated. All I can go by is the words you say. Expecting me to know that you’re not being serious by osmosis doesn’t work. Sorry.

Also, why do you think any of this makes me feel better about myself? I’m fucking terrified. I’m fleeing my country because I’m so worried about my own child.

And yeah, you were mocking me for worrying about children. Not just worrying about children, but worrying about imaginary ones:

Will someone think of the imaginary children!

And when I just told you that I am terrified for actual children, including my own, you showed your hand by not even addressing that. You’re fine with real, actual children dying. They aren’t kids you’ll have to see die and you’ll never meet them, so no big deal, am I right?

You’ve made it abundantly clear that you could not give less of a shit if my or anyone else’s child in the U.S. dies. So I think we can all take note of that and move on. I may not be as astute as you expected, but I’m astute enough to recognize when someone doesn’t care if my kid lives or dies.

Expecting me to know that you’re not being serious by osmosis doesn’t work. Sorry.

Exactly, so why don’t you ask first if I am serious? And why try to tack on some meaning that wasn’t there from the start? I wasn’t joking, that was all you trying to be psychic. Don’t blame me.

why do you think any of this makes me feel better about myself?

Virtue signaling is my first guess. Also, you probably think it’s kinda fun to dunk on someone you think is dumb, wrong & serious, idk, I’ve seen you reply to others like that.

you were mocking me for worrying about children

If you want to be that obtuse, sure. I was mostly laughing at the old American tradition of bringing up the damn children for everything but whatevs.

you showed your hand by not even addressing that

Yes, that’s how that works. 😂🤣 I gotta be guilty of something, right? Just pull the blame out of a hat–it was me, I did it, yes. It was my fault that I forgot to soothe your fears because I was distracted by the overstuffed words in my mouth. I’m also sorry that my world doesn’t revolve around you. It’s truly despicable of me, I’m sorry.

You’ve made it abundantly clear that you could not give less of a shit if my or anyone else’s child in the U.S. dies

And you’ve made it absolutely clear that you don’t care about being subversive by undermining a conversation. Or that you’re an absolute drama queen who expects others to cater to you after you come after them.

I’m glad we each got our conclusions in before we parted ways. Idk, maybe you wan to go ackshually someone else.

Tell me you’re still trying to put words in my mouth again without telling me you’re trying to put words in my mouth again.

Try harder, dude, it’s so obvious.

I’m not putting any words in your mouth. It is clear from what you have said, and more importantly what you have not said, that you do not care if kids in the U.S. die.

You’ve had multiple opportunities to say otherwise. You have another one now. Feel free to surprise me and actually talk about why you actually do care about the lives of the very much non-fictional children like my own child.

I won’t be holding my breath after all that you’ve said so far.
