    Please elaborate how the pedophile in chief is even remotely for gamers or even a gamer himself? Does he even know what a video game is?

      Authoritarians simply have a need to say these things, even if nobody believes it, or if it’s provably untrue. We should try to get Trump and Kim Jong-Un supporters into deciding which one of them is the better golfer.

      Well, remember Gamergate?

      He’s basically perpetuating the exact same homophobic, transphobic and misogynistic views behind Gamergate itself, the behaviour that was more or less equated to “standard gamer behaviour/personality”.

      So in a sense, he’s indeed pro-“gamer”. Key information here is that “gamer” stands for socially regressive, bigoted conservative cunt.

        Yeah he’s pro gamer, but like the type that are why my friend jokingly described it as almost a slur when he got called one. Not as in “well of course i bring my steam deck on a flight”

        Well, Steve Bannon did get his start spamming World of Warcraft gold.

        I had forgotten that but then stumbled across this well done youtube documentary tonigjt about the historical line going from Lowtax starting Something Awful and the coming American Century of Humiliation, it covers a lot of the terrain that highway goes through that I had forgotten or been unaware of.       He says the gamer word constantly and entirely unprompted. I’ve seen several videos where he just goes off, spouting dozens of slurs about the people he had just met, but his favorite is definitely the n word.

      He doesn’t just reserve it for black people, either. Everyone he dislikes gets the same word at least twice in rapid succession. Once to say it, and another to really pull in some country venom.

    God I hope so. And it looks like it’s going that direction right now. But the last 2 10 25 years have made me really reluctant to count chicknes.

        He already has been. Numerous lawsuits have been filed around redistricting maps that heavily favor the GOP. Attacks on remote voting. Attacks on voting oversight committees. Judges that are trumpian put in place in key districts already who are going to overturn enough local election results on federalist society bullshit to swing enough seats.

        We’re going to have over 70% of the votes and less than 48% representation soon. It’s already happened.

      It’s good, but not exactly correct.
      The posture needs to be leaning forwards a bit, and the tongue needs to be hanging out salivating whilst it ogles and gropes a young child…

      I mean I’m not sure if this is AI but I don’t see any signs of it being AI and this type of Minecraft animation (not in game footage) is really common.

        Models are pretty good at Minecraft-style screenshots, presumably because there are so many of them on the internet.

        I guess you can’t prove it isn’t an animator, technically.

        How the fuck do you not see any signs this is AI? The weird perspectives, no textures (which should repeat exactly on each block) being the same, just kinda similar, the many details that don’t fit with how a block based and 16x16 pixel texture game looks. And of course the “general look” of the whole image. This image absolutely screams AI, and it’s disturbing that you can’t see that.

        Not that I would need any of this to notice the obviousness but just to show I’m not going by feel here: I have extensive experience and knowledge about minecraft, mods for it, 3d modeling and texturing, pixel art, and more than two brain cells (I don’t say that in a “I’m so smart” way, but in a “I expect even a child to comprehend these things” way).

    dude there is some guy driving around town with a fake gold license plate and trump stickers. lucky if they lose five seats. conservatives worship heirarchy and if they didn’t figure out trickle down doesn’t work after the last fifty years, well, there you have it. their anger will be redirected at the “liberals”.

    I, for one, would love to make friends with a White House staffer or intern, perhaps make friends with a couple. Not to pump them for anything as droll as classified Intel or state secrets. No, I want the hot goss, the tea, the interpersonal drama.

    Trump’s Cabinet secretaries all hate each other. This, I know to be true. Their interns must see and hear a lot of it, I’d love to be in on it.

      And they’re owned by Microsoft.

      …I think you should already consider investigating potential alternatives. I mean, I like Minecraft, but the principles of its owners isn’t helping. And Mojang can’t hold back enshittification forever.

          Mojang’s development has always been painfully conservative.

          It sucks for the modding scene and features in general, but it’s also kept the game from enshittifying. Mostly.
