Yeah. After my last relationship ended, I told myself if my only value was for sex/ego booster/doing all the chores and half the bills, at least if I’m on my own, I come and go as I please, with whom I please or alone without someone else ruining it, and while I may not be as financially comfortable, my physical and emotional health are really, really worth it. I wouldn’t mind a partner, but I’m not interested in doing all the emotional and household work on top of being captive with no pleasure money.
