I didn’t watch the video so idk if they gave advice but I can give you what I’ve personally found up help.
I ask myself how my body feels physically. And then I take the time to actually listen. Maybe my chest feels tight. Maybe I have that feeling where I want to escape my body. Maybe everything feels buzzy. Maybe my chest feels heavy or my body feels heavy. Sometimes my forearms feel sensitive.
Whatever the first feeling is, I just experience it for a bit. Just exist with it. Then I move on to the next when I feel I’m ready. It takes practice though. But eventually as you keep doing it, your brain starts doing it a bit more automatically. You just occasionally have to tell the analytical thoughts to shut the hell up, we talk only after feels.
