I’m sorry, what? This administration literally took funding and expertise away from the FDA. Again. Just like they did between 2016-2020.
And wow would you believe it? Foodborne illnesses skyrocketed.
These are the worst people.
That’s not what the article says though.
The very next sentence after the title (is that a byline, even if it doesn’t contain the author’s name?) is:
RFK Jr, the health secretary, has suggested the deaths were ‘fabricated’ while the CDC claimed it was reviewing them.
There is no need to adopt their tactics: let the facts speak for themselves.
I am directly quoting the article. Did you see that Kennedy says this about foodborne illnesses, when the article is about measles?
He said the measles deaths were fake and blamed it on foodborne illnesses.
The thing after the headline is called a subheadline. A “byline” is the author’s name. Hence “by” line.
