While true, this affects about less than 1% of the battery life and thefore can be ignored
What’s this claim based on? The amount of cycles required for the battery to degrade to 80% of capacity is quadrupled when discharging between 80% and 35%. That doesn’t really seem to be compatible with the claim of “1% of the battery life”
It’s okay I am using a Fairphone. I can just swap the battery easily.

Batteries can be recycled pretty well actually.
