My cats never attack me. Probably cause they’re never bored. Big wild yard with lots of plants and trees. Lots to do. Lots of neighborhood cats visiting. They live a life of privilege. Now city cats on the other hand… you wanna keep one in an apartment, you better be working full-time entertaining that thing.

Yeah, my wife scooped up two black cats off the street and brought them home 12 years ago. One, Rudi (RIP) was the temperamental one, she would come lay on your lap but if you brushed her too many times she’d get pissed off. The other, Bruce Willis, is the coolest motherfucker alive, a real credit to his namesake. Rudi might go as far as my porch, but Bruce is a neighborhood wanderer.

That being said, Bruce has been in fights with other animals many times sometimes winning, sometimes losing, always really loud and in the middle of the night and I have to wake up and sort things out. Rudi got in one fight because we forgot her on the porch. Poor Rudi. She would later swallow something and it killed her. She was a pain in the ass but we still loved her.

My cats who stay inside don’t attack me either. I do try to play with them daily but that’s about it, they mostly keep each other entertained, or the younger, more playful one comes to yell at me (or even starts tossing his favorite “fetch plushie” at me sometimes) when I haven’t played with him enough
