Just want to get some perspective on what people think of the American reaction. I’m NOT asking if it will happen. I’m asking what do you think Americans will do, if anything if this happens. Do you think people will just not care or protest on the streets?

Also I think small portable nuclear weapons are out of fashion given smuggling capability. Could be wrong, though.
Not exactly in your pocket, but James Bond has shown several times how they can be carried on small trucks. Still plausible.
