I wonder how much time elapsed between the idea and actually getting the shot lined up. I’m imagining it taking forever, but I think most photojournalists these days have really fast cameras.
If anyone who knows camera stuff wants to hazard a guess on how difficult a shot this is, I’d love to hear it.
Yea, someone posted the original elsewhere in the thread. Little embarrassed because the more I look at it, now that it’s been pointed out, the more obviously fake it looks. sometimes they slip under the radar though, and this one did for me.

I’d guess not difficult at all. Three minutes tops in Photoshop for a reasonably experienced user.
And yes, it’s fake.

They’d have to use a flash at a strategic angle, which seems unlikely.
It’s very difficult, that is why the shot isn’t real but edited.
How do you figure?

I feel like I used to be better at picking this stuff out. Didn’t used to have to ask as much as I do now. Getting old sucks.
