Given than nobody can seem to agree on what a ‘healthy diet’ looks like, what do you do? And why do you choose that diet?
minus-squareOrdoviz@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 day agoThere is pretty good consensus on the basics: Aim for less than 25g of sugar and less than 5g of salt/sodium per day (processed food typically contains lots of salt). Eat mostly vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. Eat unsaturated fat. Avoid trans fats. Prefer water to other beverages. Even tiny amounts of alcohol can hurt you.
