      Depending on what you call bots. Yandex is a Russian search service, so it needs to constantly crawl the web, just like Google or god forbid - DuckDuckGo. This traffic is 43% down, and not what Lemmy calls bots.

          Yes. I take pictures of despair to show fellow Americans when they tell me this is the greatest country in the world. Liberals gasp that I would take pictures like this! Well newsflash, the USA is filled with misery, you just want to be shown the beautiful Hollywood propaganda. Fuck that. Take pictures of what hell this place is, what it does to people, how it treats it’s vulnerable.

          I can also post the picture of an elderly woman killed by a speeding driver. I like to pull that out when people tell me we can’t make our streets safer.

            Did you speak with them, drop them a slice of pizza, a water, or a sandwich? Or just take a picture like they’re a zoo animal to show people to win internet arguments?

              Do you live in a neighborhood with a chronic homeless population? Do you experience the pain and suffering if individuals who are unable to find shelter on a daily basis? Do you know what rotting flesh smells like from an untreated wound because the person is chronically high and passed out under a bridge?

              Don’t fucking judge my photography, judge your government and society for allowing this shit to exist. I see the pain everyday, and having people like you brush it aside and virtue signal that this isn’t a problem is pure evil imo

                Literally yes. I live within a few blocks of a shelter, and know the community decently well, as they’re part of my neighborhood.

                I notice you declined to mention if you got that person a water, or some food, or just took a picture for your internet high horse.

              This is the USA. I don’t need consent to take pictures of people in public.

              If they choose to sleep obviously in public I will happily take pictures, there are more discreet ways to sleep, no?

              I asked them if they were ok, no response, I called 311 and they told me there’s nothing they can do even though I told them idk if he is alive 😀 insanity!

              Zoo animals, if they decide to sleep blatantly in public spaces I will blatantly take pictures of them, ask them if they are ok and if I don’t get a response call 311 (who will tell me there is nothing they can do)

                Thank you for the Palantir defense, very cool! You could interact with them like a human, and provide help instead of calling the cops to take them away because they’re sleeping in a place inconvenient when you walk by.

        I’d actually put good money on this not happening. Russia isn’t really geared up to deliver oil like that they’re all about the pipelines.

        Also whatever tankers they do send will have to get past if fleet of pissed off European fleets. Remember countries like Estonia went through some relatively severe economic hardship in order to sanction Russia, and then the United States comes along and does a deal with Russia to save themselves from a war that they started. Perhaps maintaining good relations with the United States is no longer worth it? I could totally see an oil tanker getting bordered.

          I have a recent newborn and I keep thinking that when he’s like 15 or so and starting to learn about world politics he’s not going to believe me that the United States was want to major world player. He is going to think I am lying to him. It would be like your parents trying to tell you that Africa was once a United country and had the largest military on the planet. Looking at it now it wouldn’t be believable.
