    Noooo, really? The article from McSweeney’s cross-posted from [email protected] featuring an intentionally low-effort thumbnail and reading as a press release with:

    You wanted transparency. You wanted oversight. While we couldn’t provide either of those things, we more than made up for it in deceit and unkept promises.

    might be satire? Preposterous.

    Edit: Sarcasm aside, the quote above is why McSweeney’s is, to me, so inferior to The Onion. They slather it on like the Bee to a point where it feels like a chore to read.
