I think it may be time for we olds to teach the youngs some practical skills in resistance.
Surveillance cameras are a blight. Unfortunately if you knock them down, break them, or spray paint the lenses black you’re headed for a rough time. This is because all of these are rather dramatic actions that immediately alert operators to there being a problem; they’ll be looking for you because you’ll have been on camera while you did it.
So instead rig up a hair spray bottle on a collapsible pole and spray the lenses with hair spray. This has several positive features:
If you want to go the high tech route, rig a drone with a hair spray bottle and use it to spray it. But the key is to use hair spray. The goal is to render the cameras useless, not to damage them.
