If you care about homelessness or want to fix it you are part of the problem. There is no solution because the system is working as intended. This is what left wing people don’t get because in their worldview allowing homeless is wrong, an affront to human dignity.

In a right winger’s viewpoint homelessness is right. People deserve to be homeless for the choices they made. It serves an important function of demonstrating what happens if you don’t conform. To them you can’t fix homelessness anymore than you can fix the sun rising.

There are many times more empty homes than homeless in the US. Part of the problem though is that there are not always homes where they are needed.

Let me be clear, as I have worked on homeless task forces and I deal with the homeless on a regular basis. We, as a society, choose to allow homelessness because it serves our system. I believe it is wrong, but there is no denying not only do most people not care, but they feel that homelessness is a problem for the individual.

I would encourage people to explore Housing First which is essentially what you are saying. It offers solid and proven policies to tackle homelessness in your community.

I didn’t realize just how bad people are until I went toe to toe with local business owners about the homeless population. They didn’t want to solve any problems and wanting to solve the problem was the problem in their eyes. They were absolutely happy just pushing the homeless away from their storefronts and property.

People who think the problem is people who have a problem with homelessness.

I am just describing how things are as I have been a homeless advocate for a long time.

Well that sentence fails on a technical level on account that it has 3 verbs in one clause.

Also it’s kinda nonsense because it’s like 2 layers of meta, assuming you mean problem is people that think that. I’d just assume people that do nothing about homelessness “are part of the problem”.

It’s like I can ignore anyone that unironically says “you’re part of the problem” just because they can’t identify the problem

Please never lecture anyone on grammar again. That was painful to read.

Also, saying I think the problem is people who think people who advocate against homeless are the problem is pretty fucking straightforward. It is no different than the anti-woke. They think the problem is with the people’s belief there is a problem. Try re-reading what I said.

If you still lack the ability to comprehend this please don’t respond.

You could say it’s grammar. It’s actually just basic communication lesson, don’t inject 3 verbs into 1 Clause

Uhm it’s actually very roundabout and obtuse. Most societies don’t do thought crimes, unless they’re authoritarians crushing decent, so your have to explain why people who think that are a problem and articulate real world example of people who think that just for people to conceptualize.

Your kinda proving my point about people who say “you’re part of the problem”

Once again, you fail extremely hard on a grammar lesson. I am not sure why you act so cringe, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

Three verbs in one sentence!? You really must be joking with this nonsense. Perhaps you are ESL trying to lecture a native. That would actually be hilarious, please tell me it is true!

You don’t need a real world example to conceptualize shit. I will give one to you anyways.

My community decided to remove seating downtown to detour homeless people from loitering. I lobbied against this and countered by developing a homeless plan with our local task force. The business owners didn’t want to solve the problem of homelessness. They wanted them gone. I was the problem for trying to solve the homeless problem.

This exact issue has played out countless times across the country. This is because there are a lot of people that view homelessness as a form of punishment or just deserts if you will. You can’t fix homelessness because it is a natural result of the system and to upend this system is wrong. These people are the problem, they are preventing positive change.

You kinda act like a complete idiot. That is okay, I still enjoyed talking with you. Cheers!
