There is, and what you said is defeatism. Your comment leaves no room for success, just acceptance that Trump will be the next president. There absolutely is a risk that the GOP will be successful in there election fuckery, but comments like yours are like propaganda that can lead to apathy whether that’s your intent or not. It’s not a warning, it’s accepting that it’s a foregone conclusion
You’re the only one being an absolutist. I called out that the article makes the foregone conclusion that there will be another president. It’s not a foregone that won’t. It’s also not a forgone conclusion that we will.
If we want to face a risk, we must first admit that there is a risk.
Not sure what you quoted there, but I never said those words.
I never said there wasn’t risk. My reply to your initial comment is pointing out that what you said is defeatist. Per my other reply, you can see that I literally said that the GOP could be successful.
You’re misquoting me and claiming I’m and absolutist when I never once said anything is certain, and I fact said the opposite.
Keep pushing more defeatism, that’ll surely help.

So we should just accept that it’s over and the GOP has already won? That’s defeatism.
No. The choice is not binary. We can rationally acknowledge that there is an objective risk and then work to address that risk.
There is a huge difference between defeatism and stating an objectively real risk.

I quoted my words so that you could see that I didn’t say anything absolute nor defeatist…
