I love Mystery Men. It was just the perfect mix of camp and heart. It’s criminally underrated. I kinda get it — it’s hammy and ridiculous, but there was just an earnestness to it. It was full of tropes, but never boring or formulaic. Familiar, while being totally unexpected. It felt like watching people play a tabletop superhero RPG.
